NAVIGATING THE REVOLUTION IN HR: HOW PEOPLE LEADERS CAN BE EMPOWERED IN AN ERA OF AI AND RAPID CHANGE

In the accelerating digital transformation, people leaders have the opportunity to shape the new world. AI isn’t just changing how work gets done, it’s redefining the nature of work itself. As automation takes on more of the routine and the repeatable, it’s opening more space where humans can excel. The challenge for HR leaders is to rethink how their companies operate and evolve, as well as responding to shifting employee expectations and legitimate concerns about an uncharted future. Rather than asking how people will keep up with technology, the question now is how technology can elevate people, enabling more meaningful collaboration, enhanced creativity, faster learning, and smarter decision-making. At our conference of HR leaders, we’ll explore new frontiers in talent acquisition, skills-based workforce planning, learning and development, employee well-being, total rewards, and inclusion. All of these probing conversations will explore what it means to design a workplace for the next era: one where technology enhances, rather than replaces, human potential.

From Day One is a Recertification Provider for SHRM and HRCI. This session is eligible for 4 credits.

Nobody Wakes Up Fluent in AI: A Playbook for HR Leaders (Thought Leadership Spotlight)

AI competency has become an HR mandate overnight — with no playbook and no time to wait. This session breaks down what real AI training actually requires and offers a practical framework for matching the right investment to the right population, at any budget. HR leaders will leave with a clearer way to think about AI competency as a hiring standard — and the reassurance that no one has this fully figured out yet. You're not behind. You're early, and you don't have to build this alone.

Frontline Focus: Recognizing and Retaining the Workers Who Keep Business Running (Panel)

Frontline workers keep businesses running, yet they face some of the highest turnover rates and lowest engagement levels. Supporting them isn’t just important, it’s essential. How can leaders better connect with and retain frontline staff? What benefits, training, and recognition matter most to them, and how can employers uncover those needs? What tools or approaches can improve their workplace experience, especially in environments where technology isn’t always accessible?

The Sign Off: A 30-Second Tool for Better Judgment (Workshop)

Your people now make more judgment calls per day than they did two years ago. AI keeps handing them decisions to approve, override, or question. When the machine produces a recommendation, the accountability stays human, and most organizations never teach the one skill that makes that call defensible: judgment. In this session, you'll run a three-step, thirty-second judgment tool on three real scenarios. You’ll walk out using it on a decision you're wrestling with right now. And it's simple enough that your managers can learn it just as fast.

The Biggest Workforce Shift Isn't Demographic—It's Clinical (Workshop)

While organizations race to prepare for the future of work, the workforce itself is already being transformed. Chronic conditions are emerging earlier in life, cancer diagnoses are rising among younger populations, women's health remains significantly underserved, and new generations are entering the workforce with fundamentally different health risks, expectations, and care preferences. These shifts are quickly becoming some of the most significant drivers of productivity, engagement, retention, and healthcare cost. Join us for an executive discussion on the workforce health trends that will define the next three to five years—and the strategies leading employers are adopting today to stay ahead.

Holistic and Inclusive Well-Being Strategies for a Multigenerational Workforce (Panel)

With employees ranging from Gen Z to Baby Boomers, today’s workforce brings a variety of needs, goals, and expectations when it comes to total rewards and working arrangements. Creating effective well-being strategies and employee benefits means offering flexibility, choice, and meaningful opportunities for learning and career development, that support workers at every stage of life. How are leaders using data, surveys, and employee feedback to shape programs that resonate? How does compensation, from base pay to equity and long-term incentive, factor into an appealing total rewards strategy? Which benefits, learning opportunities, and talent strategies most impact employee well-being, development, and retention across a multigenerational workforce?
