Jay is a Talkspace therapist and has been in practice for more than 14 years. He completed his undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of Florida and his masters and specialists degrees at Florida State University in Tallahassee Fl.

Jay has worked in a variety of settings and roles in behavioral health, including in-patient care delivery at a residential lockdown facility, outpatient care, clinical team supervision, as well as standing up an independent private practice. In the last several years he has provided care on digital health platforms such as Talkspace. He utilizes a combination of cognitive behavioral techniques, as well as reality therapy.

His clients appreciate his approach as direct, goal driven, and results oriented. He specializes in relationship issues, couples, stress and anxiety management, anger/aggression management, depression and bipolar, and LBGT issues. He is very fortunate to be so passionate about what he does for a living. His true passion is helping people.
